Vet visit. I'm hoping we don't have to put her back on meds.

I know that feeling. I have a fic that I can't really work on until I revisit canon, another fic that I have no real idea why I'm writing, apart from the fact that no one apparently has (wtf?), and no motivation to do either.
I would have motivation, if it wasn't for that pesky stupid cat!
You been to 69 beach yet?
The future is weird.

Awesome!
I'm sorry about the cat rage.
I have not! I think I'm gonna need to acquire a snorkel.
YES! You must snorkel. It's worth accidentally getting a sea urchin in your ankle.
I think my writing problem is that it's now long enough that fuck canon refresh, I have to go back and refresh my memory as to what I've already written. I just popped it into Scrivener today. After about 16k, Written? Kitten! was getting confused, and Google Docs doesn't give me the automatic word count update I use so I can set a milestone. Tonight, that milestone is for me to hit 20k. I can totally do that.
My big need-to-revisit-canon fic is my first work in Scrivener. I'm kind of loving it.
I just wrote myself a cryptic note! It's awesome!
I should write myself another one that says, "YOU CHANGED THIS OC'S LAST NAME. PLEASE REMEMBER."
Usually, a beta will catch that, but I haven't written anything this long that's made it to actual beta stage in years.
I'm having major fibromyalgia this morning -- surely related to the past couple days of working and S N O W. So I'm not driving, even though my neighborhood is currenly at a 4.0 Surge pricing (which translates to pretty hefty fares).
Yes, you literally cannot pay me enough to make me drive this morning.
I hope the rest does you good, Theo.
I somehow convinced myself, when I woke up at 4 am as I often do (just awake enough to know I don't want to be awake, not enough to get up and do anything) that it didn't matter because it's the weekend (wtf subconcious?) and if I ever got back to sleep I could keep sleeping. No, self, that is not how it works. Slightly better to not have anxiety about not being asleep, though, I suppose.
Cat rages are never fun.
Ah, Theo, I hope you're feeling better soon.
So we had about a foot of snow, followed by ice pellets, followed by rain, followed by a flash freeze. It means you can mostly walk on top of the snow, which is good because almost none of the sidewalks are plowed.
We had a delayed work start of 1.5 hours this am. Which gave me time to shovel and caffeinate.
