Yes, there are. And that is, I think, good and right.

I have a new fridge! The old one is on the back patio, because the truck's owner thought it was too heavy. So I'll need to go strap the thing closed until fauxson can bring his trailer.
New fridge! It's currently sitting not plugged in as everything settles from traveling, then I wipe it down and put stuff back in.
Fauxson's wife was driving the truck and brought her kids. I let her manage everything and just made sure to open doors and clear access. Between them and housemate, I didn't have to do anything anxious except pay for everything and return the dolley.
Well I cut the watching of the ep short. RPGs are a bit too watch from the hall for me. I need a more board game game. Next episode.
I have a new fridge!
Hooray! It's like an undiscovered country, waiting for your perishables.
I hope my perishables are classy enough for the new neighborhood.
Hit up every damned stop& store I needed to and made it to the post office. All is put away and I've got a load of laundry going. I think I might nap while it runs.
Also, doing all that before eating while the wind and weather is messing with my head? Kinda unpleasantly surreal.
Yay, Connie! Enjoy.
I am happy for the legal recognition of your horses!
Yes!! This!
New fridge is awesome! Congratulations on that.
Just helped some friends move. Male of the couple broke his ankle three weeks ago, conveniently, and all her furniture was covered in mirrors (think, old Hollywood glamour). It was advanced moving challenge! But they didn't have a ton of stuff, there were enough helpers, and they were only going to the other side of the neighborhood so not too bad. Did strengthen our resolve to either never move or to hire movers when we do! And start packing the very second we know we're going to move for sure!
Am trying Jilli's tea (one of them? I think there was another one that was out of stock when I ordered). Nom.
Similar conversations were had packing up Karen's house. Between one couple:"Pres, we have too much stuff. We can never move." "I'm going to start giving away everything as soon as we get home." " Maybe we just burn it to the ground..." Note, this couple has a beautifully restored house out in Hamilton/lauraville, nicely furnished. They are definitely not clutter bunnies.
