Where are you again, Zen?
The thought of moving elsewhere has flittered through my brain since my job is more mobile than it was when I moved here and the kids are adults. But I really like Colorado. Just need to import more Buffistas.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Well, I have thoroughly creeped myself out before bed with two episodes of Kolchak. Nice to know cheesy 70s horror thriller stuff still has an impact. And I just realized the type face for the credits and title between Kolchak and X-Files is the same.
Congrats on the new jobs, Plei and Jess! And yay for you too, Drew!
I am crazy tired these days but I can't sleep. Sigh. Which I suppose means I should get to bed so I can at least get a few hours in before the obligatory waking up anxious in the middle of the night!
I am en route to O'Hare. It's very dark outside.
I got stuck behind a group of women at Frontera who were yelling at friends to buy them half-decaf soy lattes from Starbucks and then tried to get tortas without the bread.
Shirft, did you tell them to just eat a muffin, whitey?
In other news, because my boss has neglected to tell HR about a change in the reporting structure made THREE YEARS AGO, I have been getting emails about approving time and pay increases for people who do not report to me.
Meeting people angry. Just got reminder of dentist appt today, which gets me out of another angry meeting. Woohoo?
I care that I don't have space to repair and refinish furniture in.
Zenkitty is me. I have to do most of it outside, which means I'm limited by the weather. Also, outside is full of suicidal bugs.
I neglected to say "yay for good meeting" to Drew.
Commuting here is getting comical. I was all excited to see a bus at the stop when I got off the subway, until I saw that it had clipped another bus. So I walked, no problem. And came in to an email from one of my staff people that she was about to get on the train (or already on it? Unclear) when it caught fire!
At least I'm getting exercise, I guess.
