Colorado checking in. I've gone through a few user names here, but switched to the current one when I finally started meeting Buffistas F2F.
After two days of total don't wannas, I woke up with my alarm and have gotten on the work band wagaon. Will see how long it lasts today.
Found out that this year's raises, on average, are going to be about half of what they have been the last few years. Guh. Won't know actual numbers until late in March. But someone who had an all star year will only get 2.5%.

Cat update: Rosie ate at normal speed and is back to wanting snuggles immediately after eating, but ... there was a tooth in the water bowl. I guess that means I don't have to take her today, but I should have her mouth looked at soon.
Well, I'm glad she's feeling better.
I am in such a bad frame of mind about my job. I resent having to be here to listen to some guy spew business speak.
Laura, I only eat between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (The Dolly Parton diet!) -- based on research around time restricted eating. I would like to get to 7-3, but it makes dinner tricky. I'm also doing severe calorie restriction 5 days out of 7 with a meal of splurging on days 6 and 7.
Essentially everything I enjoy eating is actually bad for me so I need to stop. I need to stop eating stuff with refined sugar and, frankly, cheese, while delicious, is going to kill me. So I am just not buying it anymore (I have one slice of cheddar left that I'm saving for popcorn).
I am eating more eggs and more protein shakes (barf).
Interesting, Kat.
That does not sound fun, Dana.
-t, you're kind. It's more pedestrian and annoying and stupid. I wish I could adopt that zen only eat as much as you need to survive perspective. And yet, NSM.
I need to stop eating stuff with refined sugar
You know, I'm really proud of how I've increased my veggie intake over the past year, but I really need to cut the sugar out. (I say that as someone who just last night bought gluten-free animal crackers. But there's an actual point to buying those: when I bought GF chocolate-chip cookies or GF Joe-Joe's [Trader Joe's, I love you and hate you], I would eat the whole box at the speed of light. But I can eat just a couple of animal crackers when I have a sweet tooth, because they just aren't as HOLY CRAP YUM as the cookies I used to buy. The best I can say is that I'm trying to phase out refined sugar.)
aurelia glad your kitty is doing better.
I use different user names for most boards. I was trying to keep things really sepreate but the lines have blurred on some of them (for awhile I had 2 livejournals, but the original one got deleted).
