Continued health~ma for the moms.
I thought your name was an alias for a very long time.
It really pleased me to take DH's name when we married since I was a fan. Also, if we had a daughter she would have been Victoria in honor of favored books of my youth.
Nice Cashmere!
High pain day in autoimmune land. Lately I've started thinking I should have some sort of jewelry that I wear only on high pain days, to warn people. Then I realized that if it's a high pain day, I probably won't feel like wearing jewelry. Can't stand necklaces on such days, for instance.
Had I the means, I would send Allyson the attractive person of her choice for hair-stroking and soothing whispers.
Victoria Holt was the same person as Jean Plaidy, right? And wrote historical romances, but with not much sex?
That's extremely cool, Cashmere.
May the pain ease up, Kiba.
Her name was Eleanor Hibbert [link] and she wrote under a number of names. Including Jean Plaidy and Victoria Holt. The Holt novels were 'Gothic Romance' and I devoured them in probably middle school.
turkey post
I didn't realize there were so many more Holt novels after that stage of my life. I need to read them now.
We were talking about writers like her in Literary a while back. Phyllis Whitney, Dorothy Eden, I forget the others.
This reminds me that I should visit that thread more often.
