Oh man, I'm sorry it's been such an awful day for so many here.

So far the flexeril is doing nothing (I'm not even especially sleepy, though I'm going to take a nap with the heating pad). I'm very temped to go hit up the pot store and see what they've got edibles-wise, but seeing as how I've never taken it before, the night before I have to be somewhere presenting something is probably not the way to go.
There was a former poster whose name had Tep in it and someone jokingly suggested she go by Teppy. Her response was HELL NO. And Steph was like - Teppy is cool! I'll be Teppy.
Close. Backstory: I had a friend in the FAC who called me Teppy (this was pre-Buffistas). There was a former poster whose name had "Tep" in it, and Trudy referred to that person as "Teppy," and I commented how weird it was to see that, since someone else used to call me that. (And the former poster didn't care for it as a nickname, so I inherited it.)
I'm so sorry that so many people are having such a horrible day. {{{buffistas}}}
I do not have cupcakes, but this is the time of year that my market has paczki. So, I had an apple cinnamon one. I don't know if they're as good as ones from a specialty bakery, but the one I had was delicious.
Lots of hugs for all the Buffistas having awful bad days. And sympathetic nods for the non-huggers.
Today I finally caught up with Natter. All I really have to add is that Allyson has the most lovely hair.
This is way into theoretical land, but it has bearing on my future housing contemplations. Would a single cat be happy in a less-than-700 square foot apartment if it never went outside? I like having cats around, but the place I was looking at today only allows single pets, and I'd hate to have a bored and lonely kitty in a one-bedroom apartment all day while I was at work.
My cats were always outside more than they were inside, but pretty lazy and didn't seem to need much entertainment. I think a good window view would suffice while you were away.
I have a friend in an efficiency with a cat; she doesn't seem to have any qualms or concerns with hers.
I had two cats in a 500 sq ft apt, only one of them went outside and then only one brief trip a day, and they seemed ok with it.
I was asked today if one of coworkers was so dedicated to her job because her husband was dead lo this past decade and basically she didn't have a life anymore. I was so shocked I was speechless. 1) way to question the motives of ones integrity and passion 2) assuming she didn't have a life now that she no longer had a spouse and 3) this is the guy who works 10-12 hour days and sees his wife once a week and hangs out in his office after hours rather than go home to his onsite apartment.
