And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

I may have to seize the cat.

DavidS, that's what HabitRPG is for.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I downloaded HabitRPG. And that's as far as I got. I am clearly not motivated to be motivated.

I may have to seize the cat.

This is my second or third time trying it.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Morning. I got up before 9 and made an omelette with bell pepper and goat cheese, and I need to finish this mug of English Breakfast before I run the dishwasher. Adulting!

I was going to noodle around the internet for a few hours because part of my shopping list is the Jameson I'd run out of, but googling tells me that the law changed in spring of 2014. Now we can buy alcohol at 8am on a Sunday rather than 11am. I don't know what to do with this new freedom! Possibly I will ignore it and watch Netflix.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

One thing I've discovered about any kind of stay organized/motivated/etc. system is that I need to change up those systems every so often.

When something stops working for me (takes anywhere from two months to a year), I switch to something else for a while. Eventually, I'll go back to old systems that I'd given up on before - it feels kind of like listening to a song you once played to the point of being sick of it after not listening to it for a couple of years.

Isn't it amazing to finally be living someplace civilized?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Another quiet Sunday here. (More so, since Gary's on a business trip)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Adulting!

Ooh, I need to try that verb.

Oh, that looks cool. I'm still bummed that the Sendak designed kid's play area, Where the Wild Things Are, closed in SF.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Checking in from Copenhagen, my body doesn't really know what time it is, but the interwebs tell me it's almost 5pm.
