That's a tough situation. The interview would only be however long it is, and the position would be for...a while, though. So maybe a little short-term suffering for longer term gain? But I totally get flat out deciding it's too much trouble.

And Nicole is never ever going to give her up. She adores threatening people with the horrors of Belinda way too much.
And Nicole is never ever going to give her up.
This seems like combining Belinda with Rick-rolling, which is maybe the ultimate evil?
Belinda-rolling. You click on a strange link, get that "I really shouldn't have clicked that" feeling in your gut, but you only THINK it's because Rick Astley.
Timelies all!
Good luck, Fred.
JZ,
I listened to the ep of Snap Judgment you discussed above. Wild.
Further, I remember the stories about the songwriter discussed in that story. He was not a nice man at all. And his son is in bad shape too.
meara, I know that feel. I need to be applying for temp gigs here in IN until I get something more permanent. And I really don't wanna.
I say go ahead and apply, meara.
le n, I didn't know about his son, but I'd definitely heard bad stuff about him even before that Snap Judgment.
I feel like I can never, ever complain about any of my past breakups again, because that is just a case of the universe conspiring at such an epic level to make sure the poor other guy never got a chance to just forget it and get over it. All of pop culture just kept salting that wound for decades.
I kind of love that Washington is so tapped into the Bay Area storytelling community, and that half the stories are wild tales from places I couldn't imagine and the other half have me saying, "Hey, I know that BART station, I've waited on that corner for that bus, I met a crazy person at that Walgreens too!" It makes me swell with atavistic and totally demented civic pride.
