so maybe everything can work as designed.
Fingers crossed ita, I figure it's well past time for something to work as advertised.
Pneumonia once when I was in grade school, I don't remember much other than being too sick to get gifts for anyone for Xmas. My mom's story was that she'd give my sister and me aspirin to knock down our fevers and we'd start playing like kids. Then a couple hours later she'd notice the silence and go find the both of us passed out on the floor of some room napping, all sweaty and feverish.
I don't think it ever rose to the level of bronchitis, but I got a wicked cough with both pregnancies that lasted from the time it developed to the end of my pregnancy. Now I try to avoid coughs like the plague because they move in and won't budge.
Argh. Let me try again, -t
A weird side effect that a friend of mine got from blood pressure medicine was a nagging cough! Once the doctor determined that's what was causing it, they switched her over to another medication and it was just fine. I'd have never figured that one out.
Well known side effect known as the "Lisinopril cough". Even if you don't have it initially you can get it up to a year after you start taking Lisinopril or other ACE inhibitors. Not a doctor, but from what I can see the cause is poorly understood, but it is a know side effect than can happen with any ACE inhibitor, especially lisinopril.
Connie, my condolences. Support vibes to you, whether you go outside or stay secluded to recover a bit.
I cannot believe I am asking this, but I have a friend who needs to see them: Someone point me to the photos of Belinda the ultimate evil?
Friends don't let friends play with ultimate evil.
This is a friend who gleefully collects creepy and disturbing clown dolls. He refuses to believe that Belinda could be overwhelmingly disturbing. HE IS SO WRONG.
I just got an email from my alderman about a proposed restaurant. I'm a little surprised at some of the old laws still on the books that are at issue:
The zoning on the property allows for a restaurant with an incidental liquor license, but several impediments stand in the way. The property currently resides in an area where the sale of alcohol is prohibited. The precinct in which the property is located was voted "dry" in 1936 under a state law, which gives voters in Chicago through a "local option referendum," an opportunity to vote on the question of whether to prohibit the sale of liquor in their precinct.
...
The precinct boundaries have changed since the 1936 referendum, which complicates matters somewhat.
...
Finally, when the area was in the 40th Ward, Alderman O'Connor sponsored and passed an ordinance imposing a moratorium on the sale of liquor along Devon Avenue. If the applicants are successful at convincing the voters to support lifting the prohibition either through a referendum or petition, I would sponsor an ordinance lifting the moratorium on liquor sales for the portion of Devon Avenue that includes the proposed business.
I wonder how many times they've lifted the moratorium on specific locations (seeing as there is a liquor store, a bar, and a grocery that sells alcohol within 3 blocks) and why they wouldn't just remove the moratorium altogether.
ION I'm trying to get back into the Pilates habit in the hopes it will prevent the kind of back problems I've had this past week. Day 1 done!
I can email it to you, Jilli.
