Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm the worst at making menus and shopping for them. Seriously, it's a problem.

That's part of why I'm doing this: [link] A week without popcorn for dinner?? It may be possible!

The status is NOT quo.

That's amazing! It won't make sense for me to look at the breakfast and lunch options because of our schedules, but I love the idea of making these dinners.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All the lunches are dinner leftovers! I'm seriously just going to let them tell me what to eat for a while. Will I be a little late for work? Maybe!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I also following a meal plan ("sugar detox" but I am not taking the detox aspect at all seriously, I just like the recipes) that provides me with a weekly shopping list (although it assumes I am feeding two people, so I have to adjust). That is the only reason I have a shopping list made up.

Lawn mowed, birds fed (somewhat. I am apparently completely out of thistle, which is no good for my finch friends), last load of laundry is in the washer. Time for a cup of tea? Yes, I think so.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just got back from the market too and it seems like all the prices have gone up and nothing I needed was on sale.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have a job interview on Friday, that includes a "logic" test, and a "contract exercise". Plus, they want a writing sample.

hip deep in pie

I just made chicken soup, so I would have something for lunches, and now it's time to make brownies for Golden Globe watching.

While the computer does it thing, I am de-Christmasing the house. Outside was almost all complete last week, ornaments were put up during the week, but today the trees came down, antivirus, Angels, set around stuff all being put up. Thus far 3 bins and 1 tree box out to the garage. I even swept the area the bins are stored and moved the outdoor stuff I had previously put away. I am taking breaks for some football and also getting some laundry done. Oh and vacuuming the room where the big tree was and rearranging the furniture. I need a weekend where I feel I actually get things completed, not just started and left in pieces all over the house.

Now I am going through a bin of paper since I can do that sitting down and I need a break. Any reason I should keep Cobra docs from 2010 or the moving contract from ny to tx?
