Though I quite like Seattle's two seasons; 9 months of the year we get 40-50 and raining, three months we get 70 and sunny!
No, we have three seasons, because there's those two to three months where it's 80-90 and sunny. Also known as the three months I constantly sulk about the heat.
Silly Jilli. If t were 80-90 for two months I would need A/C. Those days are very rare.
My preference for temperature and weather has flipped entirely vis a vis Uber driving. I'm hoping for severe cold and mild snow so that everyone wimps out and requests a ride. For a while at least, every cloud does have a silver lining for me.
Although, I decided to give myself a day off -- I'm really falling into a pattern of Working Every Day and I think I'd better build some downtime into my schedule so that I don't crash and burn every afternoon/night.
I totally took an Uber the other day instead of waiting for the bus. Because someone else called it. But still!
Hey, my 7:30 meeting is actually a 7:30 breakfast before the 8:30 meeting, and I do not need to be at the breakfast. Score! And I figured this out after I got up, so now I have a bonus hour of morning time to myself.
Rest is very important, Theo! Enjoy your day off.
So far all I've accomplished is taking a nap. I think I did it rather well, though.
Saw my shrink yesterday. He thinks I was looking a lot better than when I saw him a month ago. I've been on the new meds for three weeks and I'm just beginning to feel the effects from them. Like the other day I actually looked forward to driving to work in a warm car as opposed to being in the -30 windchill--the first time I've looked forward to something in ages.
Oh, tommyrot. I'm glad you're doing better, but sorry you've been having such a rough time.
Yes tommyrot, glad things are starting to look up.
Like -t, I am also enjoying the last minute discovery that I don't have a morning meeting, although I'm not enjoying it quite as much as my husband. He's the one sleeping in. I would have been at work by now.
