Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I totally took an Uber the other day instead of waiting for the bus. Because someone else called it. But still!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hey, my 7:30 meeting is actually a 7:30 breakfast before the 8:30 meeting, and I do not need to be at the breakfast. Score! And I figured this out after I got up, so now I have a bonus hour of morning time to myself.

Rest is very important, Theo! Enjoy your day off.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

So far all I've accomplished is taking a nap. I think I did it rather well, though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Saw my shrink yesterday. He thinks I was looking a lot better than when I saw him a month ago. I've been on the new meds for three weeks and I'm just beginning to feel the effects from them. Like the other day I actually looked forward to driving to work in a warm car as opposed to being in the -30 windchill--the first time I've looked forward to something in ages.

Oh, tommyrot. I'm glad you're doing better, but sorry you've been having such a rough time.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yes tommyrot, glad things are starting to look up.

Like -t, I am also enjoying the last minute discovery that I don't have a morning meeting, although I'm not enjoying it quite as much as my husband. He's the one sleeping in. I would have been at work by now.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

After starting to feel super crappy Wednesday afternoon and calling out sick on Thursday, I decided to come to the office today. My right eyelid is already twitching.

Last night I bought plane tickets to hang out in Virginia at the end of the month for a friend's birthday. There has been talk of tattoos, and now I'm kinda contemplating it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

We don't have a showing today (yet, but please god, NO. ONE DAY, PLEASE. A ONE DAY BREAK.) and I am drinking peach ginger tea, and have done two loads of laundry. My folks got me new towels for Xmas, and every time I see matched, nice towels in my open linen case, I have a little moment of color-coordinated joy.

(We also got a fancy rainshower, double-headed showerhead with mucho settings, and it is AMAZING.)
