I'm at work. The roads weren't very busy and only a little slippery.
I need to find my good gloves. My fingers were freezing by the time I got the ice off my car's windshield.

I figured I'd work from home in the morning and go in to the office about now. Except that would involve putting on outside pants, going outside where it is really cold and I'm pretty sure sitting on the couch covered with a throw and cats and a toasty laptop is warmer than my office (where in weather like this last year, the window would 'rain') would be with these winds.
So I'm staying put.
So I'm staying put.
I applaud this life choice.
I'm making more coffee and just put a load of laundry in. My Captain America pillow sham arrived yesterday and I would like to have it to clutch when I watch Agent Carter later.

We have freezing snowy ick outside.
Sunday night K-Bug and I went to get BBQ. I hopped in my car and the engine wouldn't start. No power whatsoever. So we jumped in her car and I was going to call AAA yesterday.
But then yesterday I forgot until I had to get to the dojo. CJ gave me a ride (couldn't get my karate bag out of my trunk cause the remote wouldn't pop it. I remembered how keys work after we had left).
So today I called and was told it would be 4 hours. Which is fine, I'm not in an urgent need to go anywhere, my car is in the garage, and I'm sure there are plenty of other people stuck out in the ick who need help before I do. It actually took less than two hours. He was able to jump the car, but the battery was a mess and I remember replacing it about 6 years ago...so now I have a shiny new battery. Wheeeee!
And that was my morning adventure. Now I'm back under a blanket, with my work computer, and...futzing here before I return to work.
Done and at work. Almost 3 hours for a 15 min exam.
I am normal, unremarkable, no super powers.
I've got a problem.
I can't reach the radio to turn it off, but both my feet are numb and I've got a snoring, dreaming cat wrapped around them.
I have attended all the meetings I'm going to today, and I've moved the party to my bed and changed into pajama pants so I can watch things expiring from Netflix while I occasionally attempt to do work.
I'm hungry and I don't know what I want.
Jesus christ, it's snowing again. Flurries, but still.
Today's been one of those "I'm not really hungry so I'll get one of those tiny sandwiches from Potbelly" days.
