Sounds like "Dammit, I know this stuff! Where is my brain! I know, I'll blame senior management."

ION, sweet mother, that wind! 75 mph gusts in the northern part of the state. They've shut down the freeway because of semis blown over. My Jeep is on hte small side when it comes to SUVs, but I was getting knocked out of my lane. Thank god half of the usual traffic wasn't there.

I bet the wind map looks cool.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'll agree, it is a very impressive wind, Connie. We are clearly parking ourselves in Utah until the New Year, but that was the plan anyway.

Petterino's is easily doable, but Beatrix looks more interesting. What do you think?

I haven't been to Beatrix yet, but their menu makes me want one of everything. Let's try it.

Made a Target run. 9:30 on a Tuesday seems like the best time to visit. Now I need to go a few doors down to get guinea pig and dog care instructions, but I'm piled with cats. They're warm.

The winds must be dying down some. The canyons in the mountains funnel the air into brutal speeds. The trees that are planted near the mouths of the canyons all grow at an angle due to the constant wind. But that's why one of the top ten hang glider spots in the world is about 5 miles from where I currently am.

I find that Tuesday is the best time to do stuff. People have gotten stuff done on the weekend, the forgetful people have gone on Monday, the stores have restocked from the forgetful people and the weekend people, and the weekend people are still planning for the next weekend.

I seriously think she doesn't understand that "median" refers to one study and "average" refers to a completely different study.

I say change them all to "mean" and save letters.

The wind map seems to indicate that the hellmouth is currently in Denver.

The wind is currently avoiding Denver. We have light snow falling on the multiple inches already on the ground. The high today is supposed to be 1 (not counting wind chill). I'm staying tucked under my covers as long as possible. I've put in a few hours of work and now it is MOVIE TIME!!! Ahhh, Netflix, what do you have in store for me today?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am used to dealing with multiple Jennifers (of varying spellings) but having two Peggys on the same e-mail is seriously confusing me. Especially since I am asking Peggy 2 to answer Peggy 1's question.

I say change them all to "mean" and save letters.

Isn't it mean to use mean to mean median?

ETA: damn, shoulda worked in the frugality of saving letters.
