"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I find that Tuesday is the best time to do stuff. People have gotten stuff done on the weekend, the forgetful people have gone on Monday, the stores have restocked from the forgetful people and the weekend people, and the weekend people are still planning for the next weekend.

I seriously think she doesn't understand that "median" refers to one study and "average" refers to a completely different study.

I say change them all to "mean" and save letters.

The wind map seems to indicate that the hellmouth is currently in Denver.

The wind is currently avoiding Denver. We have light snow falling on the multiple inches already on the ground. The high today is supposed to be 1 (not counting wind chill). I'm staying tucked under my covers as long as possible. I've put in a few hours of work and now it is MOVIE TIME!!! Ahhh, Netflix, what do you have in store for me today?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am used to dealing with multiple Jennifers (of varying spellings) but having two Peggys on the same e-mail is seriously confusing me. Especially since I am asking Peggy 2 to answer Peggy 1's question.

I say change them all to "mean" and save letters.

Isn't it mean to use mean to mean median?

ETA: damn, shoulda worked in the frugality of saving letters.

ION this hot chocolate is not as satisfying as I had hoped. It's hot, and it's chocolate, so I guess I can't complain, but it's not as thick and rich as I wanted.

The high today is supposed to be 1 (not counting wind chill).

It's not quite as bitterly cold here, but it is miserable to be outside for more than a couple of minutes.

I'm listening to my Janelle Monae station on Pandora and I actually did a little bit of work this morning. Now I'm playing the "how early is too early to leave the office?" game.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's not quite as bitterly cold here, but it is miserable to be outside for more than a couple of minutes.

I was tempted to drive to work today, but if I drive too much my boss complains because he's paying for my monthly Metra pass (around $130) and he doesn't want to pay for it if I'm not using it much.

So I wore a t-shirt, thich dress shirt, sweater, jacket and fancy winter coat, which keeps me reasonably toasty during my 20-minute walk to the train station despite the weather.

brillig

Sunlight, sunlight, melting all the snow off the roads. And we'll be back to typical temperatures in a couple of days, with sunshine.

Which means we should have a temperature inversion that locks all the smog in the valleys within a couple of weeks.

My normal wool winter coat is fine for this weather, but I didn't check the temperature and left the house without boots and heavier scarf. When I go outside right now, my face immediately wants to know what fresh hell this is and how soon it can get out of the wind. Accessories fail.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I ask because reasons. Am just ignoring the text messages.
