Always nice when there is, in fact, light at the end of the tunnel.
We are apparently changing Managing Directors with the new year. I do not know what to think about that. It probably won't make much of an immediate impact on my day-to-day, I suppose.
It was actually a kind of shitty murder, too (I mean, not to imply there are good murders, but. The victim was a firefighter, and he was found tied up in a park, shot, and robbed of a watch and wallet. So it wasn't a "bad guys dealing drugs shooting each other" kind of murder, as far as I can judge from one newspaper article.)
No wonder there was a picture! Yikes.
Good luck, brenda!
You guys, my aunts got two new cats and named them the Doctor and River.
Aw, cute!
Cats, not murder, if anyone is not sure.
Facebook is killing me today with people going way too far (IMO) in their support of the NYPD.
I did laundry, and went to TJ's and the liquor store and I don't feel like doing anything else, so I'm doing my nails. It's a legit to-do item! I'm bummed I forgot croissants at TJ's since I was hoping to have them for birthday breakfast, but whatevs.
Chances are you'd have forgotten to set them out to thaw overnight anyway. If my experience is any guide.
I was really good about remembering to put the croissants out to proof the night before when they were a regular part of my diet. Yum.
Mom instituted a one present policy this year. And now is breaking it. Talking to dad, it's apparently my fault?? For the former or latter tactic, I'm not sure, except the words "sure, you can get one present if your list is as short as Julie's is".
IT'S NOT A CHECKLIST! It's a guide so you get an idea of what we might like. Shit. In that case, I really should have put down the several grand I'll need for dental work and the grand I'll need for my timing belt.
Hec, that Sprecher stuff is the real deal!
