These past few days have been -- mixed. Had to fight insurce company to get my test strips for my glucose meter. (WTF insurance company?) Won, but it took two hours of my time and 40 minutes of my pharmacists time. (And many thanks to my pharmaicist for being willing to go to bat for your patient. You get cookies. No metaphor, I'm bringing a small gift of cookies to my target pharmacy.)
Got my new glasses. Asd promised slight improvemeent with weaker prescription.
I was dreaming that Scola was giving me a ride to the airport (whence I do not know) but we somehow got sidetracked into helping some elderly ladies with a funeral and it certainly seemed like I was going to miss my flight.
So, dear Jesse: if you end up getting married this 4th of July I expect an invitation. :)
Noted!
Went to CVS and the supermarket, got most of everything I need for Christmas, came back and replaced the one dead string of lights outside. The half-dead string will have to stay, because I cannot. Got my father a birthday card that plays a song, which I hope he'll think is funny.
We've got Buffistae coming over for Game Night tonight! Woot!
Sean, P-Cow and Megan Walker will join the full Zmayhemi house for games and takeout.
I am thinking it would be a good night for attempting The Full Flanders! (that would be Ned's ultimate hot chocolate in the Simpsons movie).
Maybe some swanky popcorn with cayenne and paprika. Hmmmm.
It's a dark, rainy day in Utah. Those yellow-lensed antiglare glasses are bought were a very wise decision. They're like light gathering glasses in a rainy haze and bring out hte lines on the freeway.

Jealous. The one game night I got to do that I had a BLAST!
We have low key plans including Tom & Jerrys, a shrimp ring and Elf.

Fun! Pictures, please and thank you.
I am baking cookies and making fudge tonight. I feel so domestic.
ND and I leave tomorrow for a couple of days in San Diego with his family before catching a flight to Florida to spend a week with my dad, so today is all about cleaning the house, doing laundry, and packing. We will be exchanging gifts a little bit later since we've taken to doing so on the Solstice, so that's fun. We had a wonderful brunch at a local gourmet restaurant also. It's been a nice day.
I'm flying out tonight, arriving tomorrow, freaking the FUCK out since I have to pay insurance premiums between tomorrow and the 26th.
I will make it work, dammit.
I've given up on the clothes in the bag, am charging everything, and now it's time to collect the meds.
I cannot fuck up here.
I have no idea when I'm leaving. I'm better, but I'm weak as a kitten.
