'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I thought I'd knock off early and get to Whole Foods to wait for my Instacart shift, but i forgot the shift doesn't start until 1, and there's not really enough time to go home.

Pretty much, at least it was at Whole Foods. I suspect I'll be LDB'd today what with the supermarket Muzak.

Our wings are not tired.

I was LBD'd twice yesterday! Both nice. Both on Sirius radio. Once on a jazz station and once R&B. I didn't regret it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I heard a steel drum version of LDB Sunday. We were at the mall (the moment we decided to go to the mall is when I knew we'd lose the LDB game), in a Spencer's Gifts looking for a gag gift for an exchange at a party this weekend. So I'm looking around, idly wondering if we need a lava lamp, and in the back of my mind, I'm thinking "I've never heard steel drum Christmas music before -- cool!" But I wasn't really actively listening to the tune.

And then Tim stuck his head around a shelf and said "Isn't this song...?" at which point the listening part of my brain kicked in, and I said, "Aw, DAMN IT!" Which I'm pretty sure made all the other shoppers back away.

A steel drum version is a pretty entertaining way to lose the game, though.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

HA, Tep!

I'm making pretty good progress CEing this MS, but will take a break in a while, work out, and dye my hair.

I don't know who recommended cocoanut oil for skin care but I finally picked up a jar and tried it, and IT IS THE FUCKING BOMB for dry winter skin. And I love the scent.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I just coconut oiled my hair, Strix.

But Burrell, it's so much fun to consume wine with you. I shall be bereft if we can't anymore.

Well yeah! Which means not truly giving it up for good, but I probably shouldn't be drinking it every night, as I do.

I'd try coconut oil for the winter-in-desert dry skin, but I dislike the smell of coconuts.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I've been meaning to try coconut oil because my face is drier than the Sahara right now, but EVERYTHING makes me break out so I'm always super cautious. I do love the smell of coconuts though.
