sarameg, hearing about your meeting, I was reminded of a story I heard years ago - an art director for an ad agency was extremely tough ... he'd pretty much rip people's ideas apart unmercifully. One day, a designer who was going to meet with him, before actually going in tossed in a large raw steak (in the hopes that he'd rip into that instead of himself).

Things have gone delightfully pear-shaped at work (for a kind of delight experienced by the villain of the piece) and given I am leaving in 5.5 hrs for 2.5 weeks, there is nothing I can do about it.
There's something sort of restful in reaching the point where all you can say is, "Yep. It's screwed." No more running or shouting to be done. I hope your 2.5 weeks off are enjoyable.
I slept horribly and a crazy driver did his best to kill me on the freeway this morning. I hope he breaks a shoelace at a really inconvenient time.
Do not cross Dana.

I woke up with a headache, and am feeling very emotionally blah. Probably just due to the headache, but dang.
I keep reading through my inbox and muttering about my murderous intentions.
I think I've Adulted myself into a place where I've accomplished a giant list of tasks, and now all I have to think about is how my job situation is in limbo. God damn it.
I was doing so well this morning, and now I'm with you guys on the cranky rage bench. Ah well.
I thought I'd knock off early and get to Whole Foods to wait for my Instacart shift, but i forgot the shift doesn't start until 1, and there's not really enough time to go home.
