Love that klm commercial, but it's not a real thing if I remember correctly.

I've had a sore throat the last couple of days and this morning, my nose and lungs have decided to join the party. I'm still in SLC and fly home late tonight. It is gonna be a looooooooooong day. Plus I'll feel like I'm taking the plague on the plane.
I'm still in SLC
Maybe it's just the crappy Utah winter air. There's a haze over the valleys, and it's not the good stuff.
sarameg, hearing about your meeting, I was reminded of a story I heard years ago - an art director for an ad agency was extremely tough ... he'd pretty much rip people's ideas apart unmercifully. One day, a designer who was going to meet with him, before actually going in tossed in a large raw steak (in the hopes that he'd rip into that instead of himself).
Things have gone delightfully pear-shaped at work (for a kind of delight experienced by the villain of the piece) and given I am leaving in 5.5 hrs for 2.5 weeks, there is nothing I can do about it.
There's something sort of restful in reaching the point where all you can say is, "Yep. It's screwed." No more running or shouting to be done. I hope your 2.5 weeks off are enjoyable.
I slept horribly and a crazy driver did his best to kill me on the freeway this morning. I hope he breaks a shoelace at a really inconvenient time.
Do not cross Dana.
I had someone nearly run me down this morning as I was crossing the street ... guess he thought that red octagonal sign didn't apply to him ....
The stop signs with white around the edges are optional.

That's kind of awesome. :)
I woke up with a headache, and am feeling very emotionally blah. Probably just due to the headache, but dang.
