That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

When I went into her room, she said, "Mama, I don't like hedgehogs and squirrels."

I'm with her in the anti-squirrel corner.

While I love poetry, I'm not at all good at memorizing it unless it's set to music. I can heavily quote most musicals once I get into them.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Rose was up, crying, at 2am last night. When I went into her room, she said, "Mama, I don't like hedgehogs and squirrels."

This sounds very upsetting to both of you!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

This sounds very upsetting to both of you!

Ha, yeah, it wasn't our best night. I don't usually mind getting up to soothe her; it doesn't happen all that often, and there's something very sweet about rocking her and comforting her in the middle of the night. But lately it takes me forever to fall back asleep afterwards, and I'm feeling somewhat zombified this morning. Luckily, I don't have to do much that requires real brainpower today...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I co - sign on the squirrels. Never met a hedgehog.

I emptied my heart and my tear glands to a nurse and they aren't discharging me after two mg of pain meds. I'm a wreck.

I managed to set my lead developer and the developer lead at each other's throats. Awesome.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

May I recommend the wind map for soothing everyone? [link] Maybe that's just me, but I wonder if it has some of those eye-movement benefits.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hide your nanas. I would kill an elderly Nun for a bacon cheeseburger... Wheat bun, one big slice of tomato, a dash of mustard with the ketchup, Roquefort cheese.

Not that I could eat half of it. But I'll dream.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am having coffee cake with my tea. Wrong?
