I say yes to oatmeal and butterscotch cookies. Yum.

I had to record the game and am only in the first quarter. It's already both bizarre and disheartening.

Hematocrit isn't the same as red blood cell count, though. I know because my count is okay but my hematocrit is low. It's percent volume, and it could be high because you have more red blood cells or because you have less plasma.

My anxiety dream last night was an Instacart one, where I was attempting to follow shrift around the store to see how she did it, only to keep losing her.

I would never ditch you if we were at the store together!

Oh, and perhaps I should clarify re: Exodus - I kinda want to see it, but not enough to pay for my own ticket or make room in my schedule so having it be the movie I am technically getting paid to go see it on the big screen is probably for the best. And it's already given me the opportunity to say "Oh, come on, Moses and Batman are practically the same character" to a co-worker, and that was fun.

I don't know? I'm not against them if you want to say something, certainly but I am not decisive enough to actually ask for any.

One of my former roomies and I had our eye on the same guy, and I snagged him first, and once we were listening to music, and we both chanted "Strange relationships really get me down" at the same time and looked at each other gravely serious.

Hee. I see nothing wrong with spreading myself around!

I've had oatmeal butterscotch cookies and heartily endorse them.

There was a recipe on the back of the butterscotch chips for what I think were called "Scotch Oaties." My mother used to make them.

Office Christmas dinner was tonight, I am stuffed full of delicious sushi. And got my cousin-in-law to try a piece of my volcano roll, which she liked despite her apprehension about sushi in general. Also, it was one of my co-workers' birthday yesterday so she got a big slice of free fried cheesecake with a candle and a photograph of herself wearing a hachimaki.

I was introduced to The Hobbit at a very early age, and I used to have all the songs memorized.

(The movie's version of "Far over the misty mountains cold...." was very different than I expected. I quite like it.)

The only one I can recite from memory any more is "Roads go ever ever on...." Sometimes I can remember the extra verses from LotR, but usually I have to look them up.
