Ugh. Why am I feeling so shitty about life, lately? Just...ugh. Possibly getting back into the regular working out will help (I kinda fell off the wagon this past month). I signed up for a running clinic in a couple weeks that will supposedly tell me how to run better (form-wise).

I hope the running clinic is helpful, meara.
Sorry for the feeling shitty, meara. Running clinic sounds exciting! I'm working on my form and it's almost like just starting to run again, I can only keep up the "right" way for short intervals.

I cannot imagine ever running. For anything. The last time I ran (for the bus) my knee gave out 2 days later and I will never be the same again!
I have been awake since 2:50 because my hip/thigh/back/abdomen hurt and I took 4 advil and took 2 warm baths, but by the time I felt sleepy at all it was time to get up, so I just got dressed and went to work. I do not know why it takes so long for a pain reliever to work (I felt better around 5, so 2 hours)
Oh, no, Sophia, that's terrible.
Why do I keep thinking supermarket croissants will be delicious? Just setting myself up for disappointment.
Awful hot and steamy today. I may be moved to the desperation of trying to carry the ACs up the stairs.
If after 8 hours, you don't see me posting a lot about how much cooler I feel, a call to 911 may be in order. ;-)
We've got your back, Theo.
My student brought her puppy to work. I told her she could do it today only because very, very few people are here. We are a fairly dog-friendly building, but 2 of the deans do not like it, so it is really only professors or people who report to a different dean who do it. My student (of course) doesn't really see the distinction, but after about an hour she said, "I am never bringing the dog again because it is so distracting!". Live and learn
You guys, I am pretty excited about the prospect of a crappy rainy day tomorrow. I would love the excuse to not leave the house all day!
"I am never bringing the dog again because it is so distracting!". Live and learn
That's something, at least.
I can't believe it's just 11. I have gotten a bunch of stuff done and am ready for lunch! Ah well.
I want to be productive today. Not sure how to make that happen (I have a few work things to do but mostly want non-work things toget done).
Sophia, they have a walking clinic too--you could work your way up. ;)
I also need to figure out how I'm staying awake later tonight. I have a 5k that starts at midnight! Which is all well and good but if I'm falling asleep on my couch at 10pm, not going to go well.
I want someone to bring a puppy to my work! But I could see it being distracting for sure.
