Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Despite not really having the time this week, seeing the peoples via wine night and next door tonight so totally worth it. Even if tonight was new peoples from the hood, good exercise.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Two batches of cookies baked. One batch made and will be made tomorrow plus another no-bake batch to be put together.

I got notice from my work cc company about some potentially fraudulent charges so I called the bank. A gas station in Canada and airfare to somewhere odd (don't remember) so they are cancelling my card and issuing a new one. They can get the new one to me Tuesday. I will be in SLC Tuesday. My flight is paid for so that isn't an issue. Just concerned about my car rental. Hopefully I can use my personal card to rent the car but pay for it with the new card when I return it. My main worry is that my card is a debit card. We will see.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's annoying, Suzi. I hope your trip isn't affected.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Morning run wasn't as good as yesterday, only one airport run, but I'm quitting earlier because I'm attending a WordPress 'Hackathon' to collaborate on things.

I just stuck my fork in my coffee instead of my empanada.

I went out into the countryside with a neighbor to see the Geminid meteors last night. It was lovely! Cold, but we were dressed for it. We set our chairs on a decommissioned bridge and listened to the water rushing below as the stars fell overhead. Totally worth being out until after 2:30.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Braved Toys R Us yesterday for a gift for our friends' son, and a gift card for the neiblings. All the rest of the gift buying I need to do is online, so I can avoid the malls and such for a while.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

HaHA! After quite a bit of procrastinating, I got down to business on some work, and I think a half-hour really did it. So that's good. There's another similar spurt of work I should so on a different project, but maybe later. Now I guess I'll decorate my tree before doing some shopping.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Calli, that sounds lovely.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Having breakfast at Starbucks, next up outlet sale, then TJ's. Hopefully the rest of the day will be all about getting stuff done around the house.

Got an email yesterday that instead of having the 24th and 25th off, we'll have the 25th and 26th off. Which makes sense, but surely management could have figured that out earlier. I've already had the "when we need orders to be able to ship around the holidays" conversation with all my accounts for one thing.
