Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I am so done with this brain fogginess. Screwed up an experiment at work by leaving out a reagent, and not realizing it until I went to set up a test experiment. Also doesn't help that this morning I had difficulty navigating the dark bedroom(why I didn't turn on the lamp, I don't know) and stumbled over the corner of the bed. Feh...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Chicago types, in case you didn't see on FB, I've got two tix available for tomorrow's opening of Twist Your Dickens. It's very fun!

It would be awfully hard to name one anything but "Noam", wouldn't it?

Heh.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have neighbors with a Pomeranian. They BOUNCE.

Yep. My neighbors occasionally dogsit their daughter's Pom, and that thing is a hyper and adorable ball of fluff. That is smaller than Clovis, which is a little disconcerting in something that's supposedly a dog.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thread question--does Forever belong in Boxed Set, or Procedurals? I think that Boxed genre trumps Procedural because....well, it's my reflexive reaction.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would think Boxed Set, but I don't watch it. I rpobably have the same reflex.

Now I'm mildly concerned that we don't have contingency plans for the storm. Doubtful that I'll have a problem, though, I would be really surprised if my normal commute route flooded.

We have discussed it in Boxed Set, which is not an answer, exactly, but I have the same trump ranking as you do on this, so I agree.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okily dokily, then. To Boxed Set it is.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So San Francisco is having a drought AND a flood warning right now?

Pretty much, yeah. People are freaking out.

I will laugh forever if the 100! Year! Storm! peters out at the mountains. And then be relieved, because M has to drive around a lot tomorrow. Even though he has a truck, it'll still be dicey.

Instacart is offering bonuses for people to drive tomorrow - if it's not too bad, I'll probably do it.
