Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okily dokily, then. To Boxed Set it is.

Our wings are not tired.

I am so done with this brain fogginess.

Get it together brain! I do hope you are feeling better soon.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So San Francisco is having a drought AND a flood warning right now?

Pretty much, yeah. People are freaking out.

I will laugh forever if the 100! Year! Storm! peters out at the mountains. And then be relieved, because M has to drive around a lot tomorrow. Even though he has a truck, it'll still be dicey.

Instacart is offering bonuses for people to drive tomorrow - if it's not too bad, I'll probably do it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I swear my fb feed did not used to give me everything that any of my friends "likes". Is this new and how do I make it go away?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that's annoying -- I don't know when there are new posts because everything is a "rerun" -- something a friend posted and another friend liked!

ION, I might have a problem. I am apparently developing the hots for my office boyfriend. Oops. Remind me not to hit on him in any of the upcoming social events?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yeah, I just got spoiled for Agents of SHIELD thanks to Facebook.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The day of productivity continued. I have baked, cooled, and iced 16 regular cupcakes and 12 minis. Some have crunched peppermint candies on them, others have M&Ms in the shape of a wreath on top.

I'm almost done putting together my white elephant gift. Just need to assemble and wrap (frame with chocolate and "In Case of Emergency, Break Glass).

So there was wine night and the news that my friend is taking a job in NC. Seen it coming for a while, happy for her, sad for us. The hood is pretty much the only thing she's having regrets over. But she travels a lot and has a huge base here too, and I've told her to keep her key; she can crash here anytime.

Typical Karen, she totally buried the lede. Bitch. But I know that's where she wants to be and where there is career and relationship advancement. Damnit.

Punishingly Intricate

oi, Work, so stressy and so much of it. But, now I have a couple of days off at least. (and, of course, grateful for a decent, well paying job with paid time off and whatnot!)

Hope everybody in the Bay Area is okay!! Be careful out there, people!

In utterly un-shocking news, came home to our little (fake) xmas tree toppled over and the tree topper busted. It was decorated in mostly un-breakables except for that topper, which didn't have sentimental value or anything. I'm pretty sure the kittens were to blame although I did find pieces of the broken ornament, as well as a cloth bird ornament, up on our bed which seems like the work of the dog.
