That is nice! Good excuse for a glass of wine at sunset, anyway.
I think I might try to establish taking a little walk at sunrise, even if it is just a few minutes in the parking lot. When it's NOT the middle of winter I can do sunrise on the harbor, which is very pleasant, and if I can establish the habit while it's not so pleasant it should be that much easier to keep it up. Right?

BS at work. This is the stuff that makes me crazy.
There is a process I do every so often, sometimes multiple times a day. Like today. Today I have done 3 so far, about to do a 4th.
For one of them, I get an email from the ppl at corporate office, that do the rest of the processing, that said "per our policy" this thing you submitted needs to have these 5 things.
Now, never ever have I provided all that they listed. Moreover, what they called My piece is not what it is called on anything I see so I had no idea what they were talking about. Moreover moreover, one of the things they listed is not called what they called it.
Like in the software we use, the piece of info is called X and they said I needed to provide W.
Aggravated.
Timelies all!
Having a giant case of the don't wannas. I should use the treadmill, but I'm feeling bleh about it. I used it yesterday, and I will use it tomorrow. Not today, though.
I've been sitting in a lot of training that's abstractly interesting but also makes me feel guilty about my job and this industry. Sometimes selling out to the man is hard. I should just be glad to have a job.
Dana, believe me, you are not the only one to feel like that sometimes.
OMG, my trip home was a nightmare. Took forever, stood outside long enough that my boots and umbrella stopped being waterproof, etc. I should have taken an Uber.
I'm sorry, Dana. I hate that feeling.
Only an hour late leaving work (after working through lunch). Am I caught up on everything? HAHAHAHAHHAno. But the one high priority thing that was supposed to be done last Monday is done. I hope, anyway.
OK, I know calling people ma'am or sir is a Southern gesture of respect and all, but to me the person just comes across as obsequious and a bit cringing. Especially when they end every sentence with ma'am. I think I'd rather be called 'hun', which I despise.
Well, it's too foggy to see the sun set, so instead of wine and watching the sun go down (and , really, even if it wasn't foggy there's a house and things in the way) I'm having beer and pizza and watching TV.
