Uber texted me (and the rest of the drivers, of course) that they're offering $10 guaranteed fares 4-8pm, because of the Nor'easter. I'm tempted to take them up on it, since I've been itching to Make Money for two days now.
Stay safe if you do!
People are in a tizzy about the storm that is supposed to hit us tomorrow evening. I may be too blase about wind and rain.
OMG actual fortune cookie I just opened: "Sometimes in life you just have to play hardball." THANKS COOKIE I KNOW OK.
I'm not sure that cookie has your best interests at heart, Jess. You can't always trust baked goods, much as I would like to.

Jess, that is totally my nightmare about salary negotiations. Ugh! Here's hoping they respond well to the flexibility line.
Indeed.
Oh, yeah, that is the scary part of not undervaluing yourself.
