Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yay, pizza!
Yay wolf respecting the restraining order (I am picturing Theo & the Wolf much like Prof Duncan & Senor Chang (now with Peter & the Wolf as the soundtrack. This is getting to be pretty entertaining!))
Shrimp pizza left in my car--not my brightest move. The windows are cracked. I need air-it-out weather.
Or Febreze.
Job ~ma, ita! And Plei!
I just talked to my boss for nearly an hour. Now I'm eating a chocolate frosted donut for lunch. I'm feeling pretty good.
Spent my last day off feeling rather queasy. Not sure why. Did get a fair bit done, but just crashed this afternoon.
Where in Texas, meara?
Dallas and San Antonio--not even places where I know people. I don't think! BOO. I mean, there are some centrally-located places I'd be fairly happy to go to (Austin, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, etc) but no. I'm not sure who came up with the doctors on this list--14 of them are in Florida (OK, so it's for an osteoarthritis study, and there's lots of old folks in Florida, but STILL...that seems so easy and unfair for the woman located in Florida!). I'm hoping they've planned a LOT of travel time in their budgets.
LinkedIn suggests recruiters for you?
I have recruiters coming out my ears on linked, but not the kind you need. They just incessantly contact anyone with my job title in their resume and suggest other jobs.
msbelle and Daisy Jane are in the Dallas area.
YES WE ARE!!!!
I'm trying to update my ancient LinkedIn profile to help with me getting a new job. LinkedIn didn't think I had an account with my email address, so I created a new account. Except it created a second account when I added my work email, so now I have who knows how many accounts and the help center instructions are so terrible.
I'm also trying to update my internal resume while I get work done. My inbox is a mess. Maybe I'll try to schedule a haircut before I fly to NYC on Monday so I feel like I'm accomplishing something...
There was a cherry pie on the half-price rack at the grocery store. I bought said pie. I have a fork. The pie is delicious. Not having any intention of sharing is also delicious.
