Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

I started heading towards bed. WW3, feline edition broke out. I don't think they are actually battling each other, just racing around the house, up and down the stairs, in the bathtub, across the spare bed, my bed, into the radiator cabinets and out, banging the doors, down the stairs, through the kitchen...oookay.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sometimes a cat's gotta tear around the house at high speed for no apparent reason. Part of the feline code.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I have got to go to sleep. But I've made no food for Grace for tomorrow nor have I done the dishes. Nor have I finished grading.

Welcome to the trifecta of laziness.

I'm having a super hard time at my new job and I'm battling buyer's remorse. This will pass, but in the meantime, I have to put my Big Girl Pants on and just get through it. Grump.

I wish I could come do your dishes. Buyers remorse is par, especially at this time of year. But I'm sorry it's hard.

I'm still not on east coast time despite never really being on pacific. Night owl hazards. Need to fix before Thursday morn.

Snoring ittle cat on my lap is really loud for her size. Bopped her nose in case she was congested and she just snorted louder.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The transition to a new job is always hard, but it will be worth it, Kat.

And msbelle, many sympathetic noises in your direction. We've been cracking the whip on Franny and it's been working but it's also been driving me crazy. le sigh. She got a C on her big math test and I have to say, just passing the dang thing was a relief. She was bummed she didn't get a higher grade.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Anyone else ever pay for an online purchase with Paypal, just so you don't have to get up and get your credit card?

I actually order online so much I know my credit card info by heart. Including expiration date and security code. It freaks DH out to listen to me order pizza on the phone when I recite the number.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shit. I'm locked out of my apartment, and I can't rouse Polgara who has my spare keys. I have no apartment manager and my phone battery is dying. I've been in the ER all evening.

SHIT.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ack! If you lived in a cop-friendly place, I'd say call the police, because I know from experience that the Somerville cops know how to pick locks.

Me, I'm trying to pull myself together enough to get on the road and start Ubering. Uphill work this morning, even though I went to bed before GACK 10.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, ita! I hope you made it inside.

Sara, I just went and looked, and my good boots are Sperry. They are rain boots, but lined for a little warmth. At any rate, they are definitely waterproof, unlike my snowboots, which are warmer. Until they get wet over the laces.
