I probably need to clean my vacuum's filter, but I lost the manual and I don't know how. The Internet could help with that, I guess. That's what the burning smell is, right? Dirty filter?
Oh, is that right? I was totally just going to replace it. It is a cheap vacuum I've had for ten years, so.
Well, it's soaking in a bucket of water (the vortex-y part.) it'll either help or it's the motor losing its oomph.
Just saw the porkiest damn squirrel. It had a double chin, even. Bet it is one who steal from my birdfeeder.
The rain just hit. Big squall over the house, reminding me that yep, no insulation whatsoever around here. Luckily squalls tend to pass quickly.
Burrell, what's the long-term forecast? Pix warned me about motorists, and I brought an umbrella just in case, but I'm going to be sad if it's going to rain the entire time I'm there.
I think it's supposed to rain all day and into the night, but most of the time the rain has been moderate, not too heavy. That squall for instance is already past my house.
Yeah, the rain's been pretty light here. Too bad you couldn't have caught the weeks of "unseasonably" warm weather we've had lately. (I'm sick of it, but an Easterner would probably have appreciated it).
Note to self: painkillers work better if you take them than if you just have the unopened bottle nearby.
You'd be surprised how often I forget that one, -t.
I probably would not be, considering how hard I find it to remember.
