We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have my CC number memorized.

Same. It makes shopping online way too easy sometimes.

Me, too.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'd have mine memorized if I hadn't gone through like three numbers in the past two years.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mine is also exceptionally easy to remember.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

In other cat news, I've just found out that while Molly sniffles and sneezes pretty normally, Jackson makes high-pitched squeaky noises like one of those squishy dog toys being repeatedly squeezed.

Yeah, I knew mine but then it changed a few times (and I got a new card that has different points that I want to use instead)

Here's a job for you, flea, if you're looking: [link] Lee and I could probably get you up to speed with the right things to say if you wanted to apply.

Yesterday my office was 87, and today it is 67. Dressing in layers doesn't help with what these swings do to my sinuses.

I saw that job on my local board! Except for my entire lack of experience with Westlaw and legal research generally, I'd be a shoo-in. I suppose I could go teach myself stuff using the public law library in the city...

Let me know if you want to play with Westlaw, which has all sorts of tutorials, etc. Since they are only asking for a year of experience in a law library, I think you could make an argument.

Since it doesn't require an MLS, I am guessing they will get a ton of unemployed law school grads...

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

H'm. I've got a co-worker (the person who now has my former job from hell, in fact) who does have an MLS and at least a bit of Westlaw and is desperate to get out of the hell job. I might pass that along to him -- I broke out, and now I feel compelled to keep sneaking spoons and nail files and sundry back to the guy trapped in my old cell. He doesn't deserve to be there. Nobody does.
