Oh, shit. I didn't think about that. Dang sneaky bears.

So I didn't realize bronies were actually a real thing in the world, until my cousin told me about taking her 6 year old to see the MLP movie, at a matinee, and the theater was full of rowdy men! Come on people -- if you're going to a kids' movie, at least wait until evening.
The first showing of GofG at 10 AM was nearly 3/4s full. Holiday crowd, I guess. It makes me cry a log (unsurprisingly) but is so much fun I guess I'll have to buy it. I'm looking forward to finding out who Peter Quill's father is. Maybe he'll turn out to be related to Agent of SHIELD's Skye.
I then had miso and chicken teriyaki and gyoza for lunch. Note to self, do not eat a tub of popcorn two hours before Yamato's gigantic lunch combos.
Oh, right, I have GotG extras to watch. I might be able to get to that today...maybe pop some popcorn even...
Long weekends are the best.
OH EM GEE, turkey! Gravy! Cranberry sauce!
I kinda want to eat it all right now...
Thank you Kat. It was lovely to see you and your kids. It's clearly been too long.
turkey! Gravy! Cranberry sauce!
The trifecta of awesome! Although I would definitely add potatoes or stuffing into that, as well...
Glad you got some Thanksgiving yummies, ita.
Did a little wine-tasting today, took the dog to the vet, who thinks she looks good and gave me no advice on what to do w/rt long-term cancer prevention. Sigh.
Now I'm futzing about trying to redesign my kitchen using software I downloaded for free, and which is ... not very good, really.
I'm happy to read that. The turkeys were awesome and hey, you're eating my cranberry sauce! Which means I'm indirectly feeding you! I sometimes think only Noah and I like it.
Just made boarding in Houston.
You guys are marvellous. I'm literally just back on solid food (had a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast) after a *lot* of Ensure, and sometimes I'm too wobbly to get myself stocked up.
I could come tomorrow late afternoon. Email me your address if you'd like a second helping, though you may have enough from Kat. Let me know.
I'm glad you enjoyed GotG, Connie. My favorite was Groot.
We didn't have potatoes left and we hadn't made stuffing this year. But I did take a bottle of prosecco and some rolls. But damn, ita, I forgot the lemon tart and a slice of lemon meringue pie.
Thanksgiving dinner was a little lackluster this year. We did an open house starting at 10:00 and most people came for breakfast. By the time we ate through an egg casserole (with sausage and green chiles), cinnamon rolls, pumpkin crumb cake, a cheese plate, hummus, guacamole there wasn't a huge need for a Dinner Dinner. But we did have a sort of grazing with two types of turkey, tempura green beans (which, FTR, with the mustard/chile/soy sauce were AMAZING), cranberries, rolls, mashed potatoes.
It's a good way to do thanksgiving for us.
Tonight I made alfredo with the leftover cream. NOM.
