-t, that is terrifying.

Our sink is clogged. It happened at 3:00, but pies were being made so we waited. Tried plunging. Then couldn't get the trap off and now we are waiting for a plumber.

Blargh.

Oh, ugh, plumbing issues on holidays suck extra.

Plumber is here!

$235 later, let's hope it works.

Ouch.

Mom finally called, they had no trouble getting home, just forgot they were supposed to call me. So everything is definitely okay in -t-land.

Also, So Delicious Mint Chocolate Seasonal Coconut Drink (possibly not the actual name) is pretty tasty.

-t, I'm glad everyone is okay. Yoiks.

So, for tomorrow, do I make green beans with ginger and garlic (nom) or tempura green beans with a honey mustard and soy sauce?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yipes! with a side of cranberry sauce, -t!

I'm driving this morning. Lovely empty streets, no snow stuck except to the cars.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone who celebrates it!

Happy Thanksgiving as appropriate! -t, I'm glad things worked out in the end. Kat, I'd go with whichever had the least cleanup, because I'm lazy like that. All things being equal, the ginger and garlic green beans sound delicious.

I had a Thanksgiving dinner with friends last Saturday and another one planned for next Saturday, but today it's me and the cat. I'll be making chicken sautéed in brown butter and rosemary, dressing and gravy, steamed broccoli, and a tart tatin. I'll also be putting up the Christmas tree, which I always love doing, so I'm looking forward to the day.
