Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

ita, she didn't Krav the lady from the floor, but she did stand up and then take the cart and shove it back at the lady hard enough to push her back.'

I wanted pretzel bread and we needed gas. Keep in mind, this was after Grace's surgery this AM, and the world's worst pharmacy moment.

In other weird news, the doc took a look at Grace's airway and said it looked GREAT. She said if it were any kid other than Grace she would have decannulated her right then.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I vote bad idea, Suzi. No matter how much experience the other kids have, teenagers do stupid things with guns, and CJ isn't enough older to keep them from doing them.

There are a bunch of sites that I just have to reset the password every time, because I can never remember the password rules.

So true! Though my go to is that I have an alphanumeric phrase that I type and I change one word within the phrase to match the site. What screws me up is when sites require a special character other than alphanumeric.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I took one and a half weeks off from checking mac's grades and he is failing three classes. Beyond that horrible performance and ethic, the lies about not having work and that he went to tutorials. God this kid. No trusting him. It kills me. So now he has no electronics for Thanksgiving break. How sucky for him. Dumb dumb move.

Oh mac.

Same!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

but she did stand up and then take the cart and shove it back at the lady hard enough to push her back.

I wholeheartedly approve of her use of her surroundings, and restraint in not killing her.

Over? The fuck. I would probably "SERIOUSLY????" with as much venom I can manage.

My family doesn't understand the password reset feature. My father was locked out of gmail for months because he never clicked that link. My sister called me with computer problems because my mother had a different Skype address on each machine (I hate the authentication of Skype with a fiery passion, and I'm not sure why it's so special) and no one remembered the password so she could log into them both with one ID.

I "recover" all the time, but I'm working on making sure I update my password app right away. Searching my email for the domain in concern is often useful, because I've probably reset before. That sometimes tickles my neurons.

I think sites should give you the password rules, because that's also a powerful tickler.

Huh--I just realised that I haven't watched CSI this season. Distinct lack of CSI-related holes in my soul. Yet, I watch Scorpion--it's not like I have taste.

Is anyone here watching that? I think the premise is fundamentally flawed, and also really badly shown. It's irritating "treat your geek good" pandering, and what's supposed to be genius-caused interaction is just people being annoying, like all sorts of people are.

Also, Patrick's head is huge.

Good Wife is irritating me with that Argos in jeopardy shit. Also, they've damaged Kalinda by leading with her vagina all the time, and I think it makes her judgement seem dodgy.

Her outfits are still some of the snappiest on TV (Olivia Pope and Joan Watson are also in the group). I'm not sure it's okay for a law office (just how many knee high boots does she have? Or do they let her reuse?)

I feel like Joan's been dressing a little crazy this season.

YES.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

YES PLEASE

I find myself still watching CSI but seem to have given up Criminal Minds without a twinge. Would not have guessed that outcome.

I feel like I packed a lot in to today: got my car fixed, my hair cut, and cut the back out of my turkey and started the dry brining. Now I am enjoying that classic pre-Thanksgiving cook's treat, turkey liver sautéed in butter. This turkey seems to have had two livers. Nice for me.

I don't like the seeing things from a given character's perspective thing they seem to be doing on TGW this season. Or maybe I just don't like it when it's Alicia?Didn't mind it with the juror, for example, that was kinda nifty.

ita, belated answer because of eye treatment today. I prefer closer to majro crimes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't feel as strongly about Criminal Minds, not slightly, but I am still getting something out of it other than a shuddering dirty feeling (note to self: don't marathon). I can't believe the love evaporated so...well, just so much.

I prefer closer to majro crimes.

Hope you're feeling okay! I watched every episode of The Closer and I just can't swallow Brenda and her magic. I don't love Major Crimes, and I have to tune out some of the family stuff, but I like the team.
