Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like Joan's been dressing a little crazy this season.

I think sites should give you the password rules, because that's also a powerful menu tickler.

YES.

YES PLEASE

I find myself still watching CSI but seem to have given up Criminal Minds without a twinge. Would not have guessed that outcome.

I feel like I packed a lot in to today: got my car fixed, my hair cut, and cut the back out of my turkey and started the dry brining. Now I am enjoying that classic pre-Thanksgiving cook's treat, turkey liver sautéed in butter. This turkey seems to have had two livers. Nice for me.

I don't like the seeing things from a given character's perspective thing they seem to be doing on TGW this season. Or maybe I just don't like it when it's Alicia?Didn't mind it with the juror, for example, that was kinda nifty.

ita, belated answer because of eye treatment today. I prefer closer to majro crimes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't feel as strongly about Criminal Minds, not slightly, but I am still getting something out of it other than a shuddering dirty feeling (note to self: don't marathon). I can't believe the love evaporated so...well, just so much.

I prefer closer to majro crimes.

Hope you're feeling okay! I watched every episode of The Closer and I just can't swallow Brenda and her magic. I don't love Major Crimes, and I have to tune out some of the family stuff, but I like the team.

On an early Uber run. Figured I'd get some airport runs.

Librarian Warlord

It sounds like a bad idea, Suzi. I would make all the parents of the minors sign a waiver of liability. The "nothing is going to happen" argument makes my blood boil.

Grew up with guns, had a rifle range in the basement, but don't own any now. If CJ doesn't have that rifle locked up, and the ammo kep separately locked, I know what he needs for Xmas. Also, you probably need to have him pay the bump in your homeownersrental insurance, or get his own that lists the rifle. If he's exercising his adulthood, he should take the good with the bad.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

SuziQ, I may have been reading too many of David Waldman's tweets [link] but unless there's a serious reason for taking the gun (hunting, zombie uprising already in progress), I think it should stay home in a locked gun cabinet. I'm not anti-gun. My dad had several and hunted with them. He and a local sheriff gave me gun safety lessons when I was a teenager. If I was in a situation where having a gun made sense I'd feel reasonably comfortable getting licensed, trained, buying the appropriate safety items, and getting a nice rifle. But young people, an isolated spot, and a gun for the heck of it, do not seem like the best mix.

ita - Brenda amused me. (In a fictional character I can overlook little flaws like being a serial killer that would bug me in real life.) Sharon doewn't

I got my first pay from Uber. This is not so much keeping the wolf from the door as it is keeping a 300 foot buffer zone between me and the wolf.
