I have a locked one that I synch with on my computer and my phone and the TiVO and the Wii. Rarely all of those in use at once, but often 3. I also have a unlocked guest networked that mac uses for his computer and phone. For some reason we had sues getting his PC to work nicely with the locked down one. Was just wondering if any of my neighbors also use the unlocked guest network.

My old network name was The Hub but when I changed routers I just kept the default Netgearwhatever.
I don't have a lot of neighbors in wi fi range but one network is Gramma.

- House of Bruz
- Baby
- Hi Wi-Fi Vo
- Hawkeyes

I took the money I got from Hubby's car and put it towards a major tune up and oil change on my Jeep. New plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, plus a tune up of the fuel system. 3 hours, $500. I could hear Hubby mumbling "I could have done all that," but he often said that, and things never got done, and while I've got the money I'm having professionals do the job right.
It runs much smoother now. Which is just as well, as snow is happening.
Y'all are making me want to change mine up (from its current, factory-installed name).
In my apartment building, the most interesting ones are NSA SURVEILLANCE, blubberbrix, The_Chaunce, thetransient and ImOnTheInternet. Everything else is names or factory names.
I wanna name mine The Bronze, but I have to hook up the ethernet cable to do it, which means finding the ethernet cable. Blech.

Thanks! I actually found a list of places where they have drop boxes on their website earlier, so I'm going to try that.
Hi Wi-Fi Vo

Hah! I had to read that out loud before I got it.
I tried to go to Best Buy to recycle stuff on my way to meet a fellow fan for drinks, but I totally forgot about the Festival of Lights (it shut down Michigan Ave), so that didn't happen. I'm now erasing data from my ancient iBook G4 so I can make another attempt tomorrow on my way to brunch.
I did not manage to donate my books or my electronics. But I figure I am home for THREE WHOLE WEEKS in December (!!), and will have plenty of time to purge before the new year.
I did manage to buy a new suitcase (hope it holds up), lightbulb, and other sundries. Now if I can just manage to pack tonight so I don't forget stuff for my trip....
