Happy birthday, Sparky! Sorry about the surprise party guests?
I did not feel good this morning thanks to anxiety and insomnia, so I came in late. Predictably, everything is on fire. People keep transferring responsibilities to me, and yet somehow I'm supposed to take on the additional task of managing clients? Ha ha. Haaaa.
Also, I am trying to decide if I have enough energy to meet someone for drinks tomorrow, to have brunch on Sunday, and also do shopping and errands.
...and my roommate just texted that she's in the hospital.
Okay then. I guess maybe my weekend plans just changed.
Ah crap, shrift. Why does Friday have to imitate Monday? I'm sorry.
Maria, City of Industry is a bit outside my knowledge base, but you may want to look at flying out of Ontario airport. If you need to fly in and out of the same airport, you might consider OC (I assume you mean John Wayne?) as it is between LA and San Diego. But I have no idea what the drive would be from City of Industry to OC, could be very heavy traffic.
Big caveat on my airport advice: I live near LAX now and I used to live near John Wayne back when I was in Irvine, so I really only know those two airports. Flew out of Burbank once and was like, "who knew this was here?"
Also shrift, so sorry it's been such an awful day. Much ~ma to your roommate.
Yeah. It's a crap shoot. It's going to be cheaper for me to stay overnight on the 4th and leave early on the 5th. Dinner anyone?
Thanks, guys. My day definitely hasn't been as awful as my roommate's, so at least I've got that going for me.
I'm also experiencing some schadenfreude because I keep thinking about what people are going to do when I get the hell out of Dodge.
Damn, very back of the plane for an aisle seat. But 3.5 hrs, I need h aisle. And I have to wai on baggage anyway.
Got another pile of billing statements for Hubby (I will be so happy when those stop showing up). Injections Plerixafor 1 mg--$20,996.00 billed. Insurance plan approved--$0.00. My share--$0.00. So who pays for a $21,000 shot? (One shot out of dozens and dozens. 21K. I think it cost nearly a million dollars to treat Hubby, and it didn't work. Lord.)
Oh, there's another line, Primary carrier paid in full, that's right, this is the Medicaid statement, they kicked in after my work insurance. Which explains why the company president said there were a couple of very expensive situations on the insurance this year. Thanks, boss, sorry to trouble you.
I think my shredder and I need to have some quality time.
Happy birthday, Sparky!
Happy travels, sarameg!
Happy shredding, Connie. Ugh. I don't think they should even send those; you shouldn't even have to see them.
So ridiculously tired today. At my counseling appointment I could barely string words together.
