If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

She said Rochester was snow-free for the moment. I don't know if that's changed in the past 24 hours though.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh dear Sparky. Drinks with dinner, perhaps?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry about the lice, Sparky. Hope the other parts of your birthday are extra good!

According to my immediate higher-up, the re-org decisions were made by people who were not aware of the maternity leave and plan for coverage. Which is what happens when you keep all your decision making secret.

That call sounds icky, msbelle.

Actually went home sick - may have caught whatever is sweeping through our department. If so, I apologize. co-workers, for putting your illnesses in quotes earlier today.

I think the last time I was at Love Field, it was under construction. I don't remember it being this spiffy. And WHATABURGER!

Hey, that was the Australia trip when I stayed with msbelle. (Layover here is short.)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Happy birthday, Sparky!

SoCal peeps. I have an appointment in San Diego on Thursday, Dec. 3rd. Then I'm planning to drive up to LA to speak at a meeting in City of Industry on the 4th. Is LAX the closest airport, or is Burbank/Orange County doable. Right now, I'd like to fly into San Diego and leave from LA but pricing may force me to fly in and out of LA and drive to/from San Diego, which sucks. Normally I like making my own travel arrangements, but when it's a multi-city trip it becomes annoying.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yay for traveling Sara. Waves toward Dallas.

Driving from LAX to San Diego is not too bad, if it's not during rush hour. Driving from Burbank would probably be more of a pain, I haven't done it. But going from City of Industry to Burbank is probably a best bet--I've gone from downtown to LAX many times (usually around 4pm, and the traffic isn't too terrible once you're heading west), and from Duarte to Burbank (also usually around 4pm, only the I-5 part of that is traffic-y)

And damn, my autocorrect is kinda drunk.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, Sparky!

I have the fixings for the pies that I'm taking to a friends Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. My apartment is going to smell like cinnamon for days. Mmmmmm.
