I tried to like that.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My favorite cheese is cheese.

It's hard for me to find a cheese I don't like, to be sure. Last Sunday I went to a local cheese tasting: cow, sheep, goat--it was all good. If I'm just craving a nice snacking cheese, I tend go with Leyden. It has the sharpness and texture of a well aged cheddar with a nice bit of added interest from the spices.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Blessed are the cheesemakers.

That sounds so fun, Calli!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Blessed are the cheesemakers.

It's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Roaring Forties blue is my favorite, but I'm also fond of feta, port wine, smoked cheddar, and pecarino romano. I've also had a delicious aged gouda that a co-worker brought by the office, but I've not found that same variety.

Cabrales tastes almost as good as Roaring Forties, but it smells almost as bad as limburger, so I don't buy it for home use.

Because books.

Behold the power of cheese.

I wear the cheese, it does not wear me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I tested, and yes, I still love the Havarti.

Last Sunday I went to a local cheese tasting

That sounds delish. When I fly and don't plan ahead I end up ordering the cheese plate on the plane, and it's kind of sad that I don't know what cheese is what, so I can't take advantage of falling in love.

Hil, meara, do you have name signs? What are they?

Yoinks. I did that thing that broke my ankle a couple years ago. I didn't break it again, but I might have wrenched it. My breakfall was pretty solid, though.

Okay, lemme get ACE and ICE.

Either cheering from Hopkins or freakishly human sounding geese just happened and scared my cats off the deck.
