Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Me too.

Google should make use of that.

Or shrift should. Maybe that would be better.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Crap. Someone hacked my AppleID account. I knew they tried to get at my google address, and my Instagram (which I never use), but they succeeded with my AppleID. Pooh!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Today I'm cleaning off my desk. Hold me to this!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I turned off my alarm, but woke up at the regular time anyway, so I just came into work. I've done one small thing and filed a bunch of emails already! And I gave myself an extra few minutes over breakfast, which made a world of difference in my attitude. I should do that more often.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Gary had to get up at stupid o'clock to get a flight. He's got a business meeting in Middle-of-Nowhere, Wyoming. I have today off, for the holiday.

It's probably pretty wrong that I think of today first as my grandmother's birthday, second as Armistice Day and only third as Veterans Day. Oh well, I get there eventually.

Ports are closed today, but the office and warehouse are open. That always makes more for a more interesting week of inventory wrangling.

I hope he's wearing warm clothes, it's cold on the high plains.

How did you find out, Burrell? Did they do any damage (to your account or wallet)?

information libertarian

New York-affiliated people, thoughts on a place to cheaply park a car for a visit to the city? We're talking about driving to visit my brother in Manhattan between Xmas and New Year's. He lives on the Upper West Side and just spun me a tale of street parking horrors when someone else visited him. And apparently hotel parking is $150 a day? Is leaving the car at a commuter station in NJ for free/cheap our best bet? Or is there a better way?

Argh, Burrell. I hope that doesn't cause you too much trouble.
