Pretty sweet, Scrappy.
How nice, Laura! I hope it keeps up.
Tried the serrated-knife-between-two-plates method of slicing grapes. It didn't not work, I guess, but I'll probably stick with my usual method of deciding that whole grapes are fine in the future.
Car is clean. New Last Tango in Halifax in minutes!
Oh, really? And me with time to set the DVR. Thanks!
I have vacuumed and de-pollened my car, now I can take it to the car wash tomorrow. Three loads of dishes and five of laundry (not put away yet). One bookcase put together, and recycling is already out. Oh, and groceries bought and put away (if I'd had the foresight, I would have cleaned the fridge out first).
I was a bit saddened that after emptying out the car that I didn't find my rhinestone cat-eye sunglasses. Nor my plain brown shades, so I'm still stuck with wearing my pink frames, which is fine, except they're a little loose and constantly fall off my head.
Hey, the temperature on the patio is down to 90, woohoo!
I will celebrate by...making stew? Yeah, apparently that's what I'm doing.
Eight o'clock on a Sunday evening, there are boats out on the lake. It's rather a pleasant view, as the shadows of the mountains start to creep across the valley.
Bad Connie, not sharing the pictures. It does sound very pretty.
After striking out at Costco, Target, and Walmart in looking for a canning pot (could not find mine in storage), I remembered K-Mart and was successful! AND when checking out the nice dude ask if I had a rewards card and I said I thought I did because there used to be a K-Mart right near my office, and so he checked. There was $10 in rewards just sitting there waiting for me. Woot!
That is FOUR times today that I have had a pleasant shopping experience. That is four times more than a usual year for me. This could be a sign of some sort.
Daniel, I'm so sorry about your aunt.
I'm so sorry, Daniel. Peace upon her spirit, and to you and everyone who loved her (which, from glancing over at Facebook, looks like many people, very deeply).
I'm so sorry, Daniel.
It's been a hard few weeks for folks around here.
