Goodbye and Good Riddance 2013: That Was the Year That Was
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Out you go, 2013!
I'm glad you're here too, Theresa, and please don't not post!
Theresa, thank you for sharing your struggles and your joys with us.
People treat me like I'm cognitively impaired when I talk to them (duh, because I am) and I don't like being aware of that after growing up as one of the smart kids. Maybe that's a lesson for my character.
Oh SHIT. I am going to have to sit with that one for a while. Definitely resonates with me.
Theresa, I'm thankful that you are here. Also thankful for the Valentines.
Thank you. I've had a lot of support from Topic Cindy and others back channel. I just remember being capable of better posts. But that's life, as it goes.
I'm sorry you had such a rough year. Definitely don't feel self conscious about meds around here (says the girl who just had to take a sick day for brain-related stupidity), and know this is a safe place to talk.
Theresa, here's wishes for a better 2014!
Omg, what a downer! Today, though there was the prettiest cardinal outside my window. It's not fair to paint such a bleak picture of 2013 (although don't ever come back, 2013). Some of my meatspace friends had babies, Buffistas had babies, Matilda continues to be my fashion darling, India is walking and generally being too cute for words, Cindy gave Buffy a good home, and a few b.org cancer scares turned out alright. And Sparacus joined the board!!! I really love all of your personal triumphs and good stories. You (everyone on the board) mean so much to me. If b.org is somebody's soap opera, I felt the need for my character to have a happy wrap-up. ;)
Much love to you, Theresa. It's good to see you again.
In other news I got a lovely anon postcard, which I am certain is from someone here! It was very well-timed.
Theresa, much love and strength to you.
