Goodbye and Good Riddance 2013: That Was the Year That Was

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Out you go, 2013!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Secret Santee, I will get my act together soon! PROMISE!

Just had to mention that there's a city in east San Diego County called Santee. So all these reassuring "Secret Santee" posts are amusing me - "Secret Santee? Wasn't so secret when I was dating a guy who lived there, haha!"

Buffista Secret Santa Exchange - something for everyone, including non-participants!

Swouncing

was that at PF?

WorldCrossing.

They had the possibility to add picutes to each poster's name. At first, we added 'real' pictures (used by Jon to create the Buffista Gallery* in this [link] ).

where did we go to make them, was it part of PF or an outside site?

Later somebody (I want to say ita, but I have no idea if my sieve is playing its usual tricks on me) introduced us to the StorTroopers site (much like in this [link] ), and we all started to create our own Stors, and then some of the graphics-talented Buffistas (again, I want to say ita, Matt, Jon, maybe Sophia? But I'm sure I'm forgetting some, so I'll shut my keyboard up about this) photoshopped and created those lovely show-related rich-in-details Stors.

Wow, look at me, posting in a double-digit-post-number, and even managing to be on topic, not posting-and-running! Yay!

* Goodness, I didn't realize how long ago it was, until I saw Emmett's pictures, and realized he doesn't look much older than PiToddler in them, while in real life he's probably at least as old as, well, some of the younger Buffistas whose pictures are already in that gallery. Also, the pictures in the gallery were, for me, the first time I got to see how so many of you look, so for several Buffistas - including several I was fortunate enough to meet in face-space - their mental image in my mind when I see their names posted is from those very pictures in the gallery. Only, I didn't even remember that those pictures-near-names-at-WorldCrossing were the source for so many of my mental images. Funny.
