GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I was less than wowed by Masters of the Universe: Revelation. It wasn't terrible, but it mixes the cheesiness of the old cartoon with modern storytelling sensibilities in a way that ends up feeling awkward. Sometimes a hero comes out of nowhere to save the day and other times characters just die and it ends up feeling very inconsistent.

That's the He-Man one? I just didn't understand why they followed up the brilliant re-imagining of She-Ra with something that looked so much like the original.

I did see the trailer for S2 of Lower Decks, and I am on board for this.

Yeah. It's a direct follow-up to the 80s cartoon and literally starts off like it's a better animated and acted episode of the original cartoon before taking a turn at the end.

The cast is excellent, including SMG as Teela, Mark Hammil as Skeletor and Lena Headley as Evil-Lyn and I think the general bones are good, the execution is just somewhat lacking.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I’m actually enjoying the new Masters of the Universe more than I enjoyed the new She-Ra. She-Ra was a great show that was in no way like the original, whereas MotU is instantly recognizable.

Huh. Well, unlike a lot of the Zap era underground comics artists, Gilbert Shelton actually knew how to write a story.
