You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

We loved Ruby Gloom.!
It got interestingly ambitious in its later seasons and even had a musical.
Excellent characters, PerkyGoth design and music.
I think I ganked the theme song too.

If you follow streaming TV for grown-ups, you can see Sarah Gadon, who (exquisitely) voices Ruby, as Grace in Alias Grace on Netflix and as Sadie in 11.22.63 on Hulu. Like apparently every Canadian actor ever, she is mindbogglingly superb.
