Been listening to/reading the lyrics for the full versions of the various RWBY songs and the second/third verses are a whole lot darker than the parts they use for the various opening credits.

And Red Like Roses Part II actually has a whole back and forth between "Ruby" and her mother after the part that was used in the show. [link]

ETA: Well, except for "I Burn" (Yang's theme) which is just verse after verse of trash-talking (which is kind of appropriate.) [link]

Well, that was another barn-burner season finale for Rebels. X is on the loose, Y's fate is highly uncertain, and Z may never fight again.

That Rebels finale was intense.

I like how well they made use of Vader this season. He's absolutely terrifying.
