"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I can't wait!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I mainlined it yesterday and then went back and watch the whole first season again to pick up clues...

I decided moderation was best, and am watching it one episode at a time on lunch break. I've started with Season 1, just to have it all in context. I'll keep an eye out for your interesting observation. Not that I anticipate having any answer to it. There are a number of things it has that makes me go "huh. That's curious". The biggest is trying to figure out which charactor is which. The numbers on the uniforms helps. Now if one of htem was THX1138, that would be funny.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I really made a lot more connections going back and watching the first season after the second. there were things I missed before that make more sense and hints and foreshadowing that was there but I couldn't put it all together before.

And it takes a great deal of concentration and a score card to tell the 11 sisters apart!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whee, Gravity Falls! That was terrific.

So much fun! I didn't even mind that we didn't get much Dipper and Mabel. Are we getting another episode next week?

Not according to my onscreen guide. Woes.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I think the next episode airs August 3rd. So, a wait, but not as annoyingly long as the last one.

J.K. Simmons is a national treasure. He makes everything better.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So a while back I was talking to Scola and I was talking about how Adventure Time had become an incubator of talent and that I was loving Steven Universe (Rebecca Sugar) and Puppycat and Bee (Natasha Allegri).

And he said, "Have you seen Over The Garden Wall?"

And I furrowed my brow and said, "....Over the Hedge? That Dreamworks thing with Bruce Willis as a sassy raccoon?"

And Tom looked horrified. Obviously he wouldn't recommend something like that.

And when Hulu picked up a whole slate of Cartoon Network shows, I was happy to see Over the Garden Wall. And it was amazing. So dark and beautiful and strange and distinctive.

So I introduced it to JZ and Matilda. And after the last episode aired JZ burst into tears and said, "What have I done with my life that I'm not making beautiful projects like this with interesting people instead of what I do with my days?!"

Which is an endorsement. Because it is a strange little beautiful gem, with fantastic voice talent (Elijah Wood, John Cleese, Christopher Lloyd, Melanie Lynsky) and songs and a distinct sensibility.

Because obviously you could see what my face looked like as I described this thing to you over the phone.
