I think one of the interesting things about the Earth Queen's death was that you really couldn't be glad that she'd been taken out, no matter that she was a horrible human being.
Yeah. And as awful as the segregation of Ba Sing Sei society is, starting riots and looting isn't actually a great way to bring about universal peace and harmony. And which were, I gotta say, entirely foreseeable by the Red Lotus.
I like the idea of Bolin learning to lava bend. I bet there are some great non-lethal applications for that, including art and construction.
Yeah, I think the Earth Queen's death was one of the most brutal things we've seen on either show.
I think that last week, when Aiwei
literally
got sent to Hell, was worse.
Red Lotus doesn't want universal peace and harmony. They want chaos and anarchy. I thought that was pretty clearly stated.

Well, last season we learned Admiral Zhou has been there for over 70 years. So Aiwei getting tossed in didn't really ping me much. Though I suppose Zhou was more deserving.

I've got in my queue, but I'm currently watching through Clone Wars (I only saw part of season 1 originally before life made regular TV watching tough for awhile) in prep for Star Wars: Rebels. (No clue how much, if any, tie-in, there will be, but Darth Mouse has declared the movies plus Clone Wars and the upcoming Rebels are considered canon.)
I didn't realize Ming-Hua doesn't have arms. How did I miss that?!?

Well, I am now. Was going to watch the first episode and go to bed. Well, I watched 3.
omnis, I'm almost done. it's kind of hard to stop when you know there are more episodes!
I agree! I have 3 episodes left. Will likely knock them out tonight.
