I might just be burned out on plucky young thieves destined for greater things.
Yeah.
That's a trope I could do without for a generation. No more "Chosen Ones" either.
No more zombies. No more sexy vampire fighters as seen from behind with tribal tattoos and no visible face and a weirdly curved knife.
Just saw episode 10 of Korra and actually yelled NO when it ended because I wanted MORE NOW!
This is a really good season.
I'm just glad Naga and Pabu are okay. (And Naga greeting Lin was priceless.)
I love Naga. She is awesome.
I'm glad nobody got eaten by the sand-shark!
The sand-shark gave me some lovely Dune flashbacks.
Also, airbending has some scary-ass applications. No wonder the Air Nomads were so in to peace and understanding.
Yeah, I think the Earth Queen's death was one of the most brutal things we've seen on either show.
With all the emphasis on Bolin trying (and failing) to metal bend this season, I think it would be neat if he learned how to lava bend.
I like that idea about Bolin. A lot.
I think one of the interesting things about the Earth Queen's death was that you really couldn't be glad that she'd been taken out, no matter that she was a horrible human being.

Yeah. And as awful as the segregation of Ba Sing Sei society is, starting riots and looting isn't actually a great way to bring about universal peace and harmony. And which were, I gotta say, entirely foreseeable by the Red Lotus.
I like the idea of Bolin learning to lava bend. I bet there are some great non-lethal applications for that, including art and construction.
